Privacy Policy

Clusteratech LLC (“Clusteratech”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates Clustera Hunt (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use and protect it.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to match you with jobs and submit applications on your behalf:

• Account: name, email address, password hash.
• Resume & profile: resume file you upload, parsed work history, skills, education, target roles, location preferences, and salary expectations.
• Application activity: jobs you view, save, or apply to; application status updates; and cover letters we generate for you.
• Billing: if you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We receive a customer ID, subscription status, and last four digits of your card — never the full card number.
• Technical: IP address, user agent, and session identifiers needed to keep your account secure.

2. How we use your information

• Match you with roles and score fit.
• Submit job applications on your behalf when you explicitly click “Apply”. We do not apply without your action.
• Send transactional email (verification, reset, confirmation).
• Detect abuse and enforce rate limits.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your resume to train general-purpose AI models.

3. Service providers

We share data with a small set of providers, only as needed:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, etc.) — when you click “Apply”, we submit your resume and form answers directly to the employer’s ATS on your behalf.
• Cloud infrastructure — Fly.io (API hosting), Vercel (web hosting), and managed Postgres/Redis providers.

4. Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@clusterahunt.com. On deletion we remove your resume, application history, and profile within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or billing reasons (for example, Stripe transaction records).

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data from the account settings page, or by contacting us. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what categories of personal information we hold and the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell data).

6. Security

We encrypt traffic in transit with TLS, hash passwords with modern algorithms, and encrypt sensitive fields at rest. No system is perfectly secure — if we learn of a breach affecting your account, we will notify you promptly.

7. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 16. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in-app before they take effect. The “Effective” date above always reflects the current version.
